Keeping the music alive… P. J. Belly Music Scholarship Endowment

Texas Tech University School of Music Lubbock, Texas

P. J. Belly was a great believer in encouraging young musicians. To honor his memory, the P. J. Belly Scholarship in Jazz was established at Texas Tech University. The first scholarship was awarded in August 2000 and is awarded each fall semester to students in Jazz Studies at Texas Tech.

An endowment fund has been established to insure the permanence of the scholarship. Friends and fans of P. J. Belly who wish to make a memorial contribution to help keep not only P. J. Belly’s music alive, but THE music alive as well, may do so directly to the endowment fund. Memorial gifts of any size are welcome. To make a gift honoring the memory of P. J. Belly:
